You have your date, time and location, so it’s time to start sweating the small stuff. Who will be doing the shaving? Are you going to sell food, hosting a basket raffle or doing any other fundraising at the event? Do you need volunteers to help? These are all things to think about as you plan your event. 1. Spread The Word

Get the word out about what you’re doing to raise money for cancer research and patient care. Take time to write down your story and share it with others. Personalize your fundraising webpage and share your story by email and on social media. Visit our pages on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for inspiration, and download a timeline photo that you can use on your profile. The more you spread the word, the better chance you have of meeting and exceeding your fundraising goal!
