Bald for Bucks started with a promise between a brother and sister. That one small act of love and compassion has grown into a head-shaving fundraising program that spans generations throughout our Western New York community.
We all know someone whose life has been affected by cancer. Show the ones you love that you are with them by going Bald for Bucks. There are four ways to participate.
Our Bald community is big and unique – full of students, teachers, parents, first responders, young adults and more. Anyone can participate and raise funds to make a difference. Are you going Bald with your school? Need some help setting up your fundraiser? Want some tips to fuel your fundraising? We’re here to help. We have a ton of resources, plus a super knowledgeable staff that’s just a phone call, email or Facebook message away!
Grandparents. Teachers. Children. Parents. Just like you, we know so many that have been personally affected by cancer. That’s why we stand in solidarity with them. The funds we raise together help advance research and programs that support patients and survivors at Roswell Park.
Schools, individuals and groups in our community are all working hard to raise both funds and awareness for Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, NY, and for 13 Thirty Cancer Connect in Rochester, NY.
